Welcome to the FRASER VALLEY ITALO-CANADIAN SOCIETY
Our history started when Italo-Canadians living in the Fraser Valley felt the need to have a place to be able to share and connect to the most important things in the Italian Culture: family, food, friends, and music.
To answer to this need our founding Fathers decided to organize events, from banquets to dances to bring a community together and keep our culture alive. On the 12th of May 1979 at the St. Joseph Church hall, the first official banquet started a tradition that to this day all the directors and the members of this Society keep alive with numerous events and cultural activities like Italian classes and Bocce tournaments.
