About Us

The Fraser Valley Italo-Canadian Society is more than just an organization; we are a community of passionate individuals united by a shared purpose. Founded in 1979, our society has grown to become a pillar of the community where culture and love for food and music are protected and shared.

Our Mission

As the history of Canada was and is made by immigrants we are committed to keep alive and cultivate the most important parts of Italian Culture to be always aware of our roots but also to share our traditions with everyone that wants to know more about it. Ultimately keeping our culture alive is, and will always be, our main goal.

What We Do

  • Fostering Connection: First, second or third generation Italians you’ll find your place in our vibrant community and even if the only connection to the culture is the deep love for Italian food, anyone is welcome to the FVICS.

  • Collaboration and Innovation: The FVICS encourages collaboration among its members. We believe that together, we can achieve more. Explore exciting projects, share your ideas, and be part of groundbreaking initiatives. All our Members are always welcome to come to the directors to not only help out but also to share ideas and memories so that our society can thrive and grow not only from the directors, but from the members too.

  • Community Impact: We are committed to making a positive impact on our community and beyond. With our Scholarship program and our initiative involving the Langley Memorial Hospital we started this year with some grand goals in mind and we will make sure to deliver . Join us in creating a brighter future for all.
